Q: How to store your li-ion batteries?
A: The recommended storage temperature for most batteries is 15°C (59°F); the extreme allowable temperature is –40°C to 50°C (–40°C to 122°F) for most chemistries. While lead acid must always be kept at full charge during storage, nickel- and lithium-based chemistries should be stored at around a 40 percent state-of-charge (SoC).

Q: How should I initially charge my battery?
A: Please visit our User Guide page here.

Q: Do your batteries support NFC (Near Field Communication)?
A: Yes, NFC is supported for most of the new models. This functionality is listed on every product page in the specifications box.

Q: Is it bad to charge li-ion or li-po batteries is small portions or via USB, when downloading music from the computer to the phone for example?
A: Charing in small portions is allowed and encouraged when it comes to li-ion and li-po batteries. More on this topic you can find in our blog here.

Q: Why is it important to initially charge the battery 4-5 times for 8-12 hours?
A: This process is needed to train the controllers in the phone and the battery to recognize new extended battery capacity. The phone needs to rewrite the capacity statistics so the correct capacity is reflected by the charge indicator. We recommend to keep an eye on the battery and if productivity declines, repeat this calibration process. More information on handling Lithium Ion batteries you can find on here at XDA forums and Battery University.

Q: What is the voltage on the contacts of a 3000mAh+ battery when it's fully charged and what is the voltage when the phone switches itself off?
A: The full charge voltage is 4.2V (4200mV) and the switch-off voltage is around 3.2V (3200mV).
