Best Extended Battery for HTC Trophy Smartphone

While there are other batteries, providing extended runtime for the HTC Trophy, to the best of my knowledge this is the only one of the same physical size as the originally supplied battery. This is importantant to me as I do not care to have an oversized back cover on my phone, as is necessary with other available extended life batteries.

the battery was as advertised, instructions plain and easy to read. after charging and recharging as instructed i have noticed a marked increase in time between recharges for my phone. on the old battery i would have to recharge in the afternoon after heavy use. the new battery lasts all day no matter how i use the phone. very pleased.

I was a little skeptical of this purchase because I've bought Chinese-made cell phone batteries in the past that were not very good. This battery rocks! I get at least 50% more out of this battery than the new original battery that I replaced. I used both batteries - the original and the Mugen - while on vacation in Europe. It was handy to have both batteries during the trip because I was using the map and browser applications quite frequently between charges. The battery didn't seem to need to be "conditioned" as it well out-performed the original battery after the first charge. The battery is very slightly thicker than the original, but the original cover fits perfectly over it. Very well engineered! Impressive!

I give it 5 stars because it offers 1800mAh as opposed to the original yellow 1300mAh. You must follow the instructions provided to get the most out of the battery. Device feels a bit heavier but the good thing about this battery is there is no need for a new cover as the new battery fits within the original case.

After properly seasoning the battery per the enclosed instructions I am realizing a dramatic improvement in battery life and use time! I no longer worry about the phone getting me though the day no matter how hard it is used. A solid 18 hours with video, music, 6-10 15-30mins calls is just amazing...the stock battery barely made 10 hours and sometimes less than 8.
