I'm currently waiting on an upgrade, but the life of my stock hero battery was nearly useless. Sprint wanted about $45 USD for a replacement 1500mAh. So I saved about 12 dollars, and got a higher capacity battery. Would definitely buy again.

This battery really surprised me . It lasts so much longer than the factory battery . Good buy !
Once you cycle the battery, it worked like a charm...nearly 24 hours on a charge where the stock battery was about 8 hours max.
Bought this as a replacement for my HTC Hero from Sprint. Price was great, shipping was great, and performance has been great. Before, with "normal" intermittent use I could get about a half day of use. With hacking my phone to android gingerbread and adding this battery (20% extra capacity) I am now able to last about 1.5 days. Great purchase, highly recommended. You'll get more battery life by upgrading android to 2.3 than you will this battery. But the combination rocks.
Much better than stock battery. I no longer have to take a charger everywhere I go! Unplug in morning 7am, works till 9 or 10 at night with moderate use (some bluetooth, occasional GPS, regular use of screen, email and internet). Stock battery won't even do 1/2 that time at this level of use.
